Autobahn (Full) — Race Line

ClockwiseEstimated line18 corner mapsUpdated 2026-10-01

Estimated from data not in trackdays.ai. The speeds and braking points come from cars lapping at a typical quick HPDE pace. If you have data you would like to contribute, please send it to upload@trackdays.ai to help improve our estimates. Turn numbers are provisional: our own, in lap order, 18 bends against the venue's 19 turns, as there is no club map to match.

Heads up: This is an estimate of a typical quick HPDE line, not any one car's lap. Braking points are a starting point, not a target: start a little earlier and work later in small steps. The line goes straight from throttle to brake; amber only marks where you really lift or hold part throttle. Turn numbers are provisional and may not match the venue's. The LiDAR was flown in 2014, before the North-course expansion that began in June 2026, so this is the pre-expansion layout.

Autobahn (Full) — full lap

Autobahn sits on flat farmland, with about 6 m of relief over the whole Full lap, and every corner is banked a little toward the inside, so the pavement helps everywhere but never dramatically. The Full lap joins the technical South loop to the faster North loop through the long left around the clubhouse (T1) and a link road over the one real crest on the property, between T12 and T13, which takes a good share of the load off a fast car. The surface is bumpy in places, so brake in straight lines, be patient for late apexes in the slow corners and keep your inputs smooth over the crest.

Sectors

Autobahn (Full) race line, Sector 1: T1 to T4
Sector 1: T1 to T4

From the start line the lap swings left around the clubhouse at T1, a long, near-180° bend that rewards patience, then runs down to the slow right-hand hairpin at T2, the first big stop. T3 and T4 follow as two lefts: T3 quick and falling away, T4 a fast, well-banked sweeper that climbs out of the lowest part of the lap.

Autobahn (Full) race line, Sector 2: T5 to T10
Sector 2: T5 to T10

T5 is a quick left that falls away on exit, T6 a right that climbs and wants a patient, late apex, and T7 a fast right sweeper. T8 and T9 are two slow rights that work as one corner with a single steering motion, and T10 is the left that releases you onto the long back straight.

Autobahn (Full) race line, Sector 3: T11 to T13
Sector 3: T11 to T13

The back straight ends in one of the slowest corners on the lap, the T11 right, followed at once by the T12 left, both on gently falling ground. From T12 the link road climbs over the crest, the one place at Autobahn where the car goes light, and drops into the braking zone for the right at T13.

Autobahn (Full) race line, Sector 4: T14 to T18
Sector 4: T14 to T18

The North loop flows: T14 is a climbing left, T15 a fast, barely banked right, and T16 a long right around the far end of the property at the highest part of the lap. A long run back down the east side ends at the T17 left and the long final right, T18, which you drive as one wide, sweeping arc onto the front straight.

Corners

Autobahn (Full) T1 race line close-up: Lightly banked at the apex (+1.3%), but not all the way through (−1.0% at one edge).
T1

The long left around the clubhouse turns you almost all the way around, and it is lightly banked at the apex but not all the way through. Brake in a straight line from the right side, be patient through the middle and aim for a late apex, then let the car run out to the right onto the run down to T2. The mistake to avoid is turning in early, which leaves you adding steering lock halfway round.

From the survey: Lightly banked at the apex (+1.3%), but not all the way through (−1.0% at one edge).

Autobahn (Full) T2 race line close-up: The most banked apex on the Full lap (+3.3%).
T2

This slow right-hand hairpin is the first heavy stop of the lap and the most banked apex on the circuit. Brake hard and in a straight line from the left side, turn in late for a very late apex and drive out to the left, using the banking to get on the power early. The mistake to avoid is braking on the bumpy approach with the car still turning, which unsettles it just as you need it to bite.

From the survey: The most banked apex on the Full lap (+3.3%).

Autobahn (Full) T3 race line close-up
T3

This is a fast left that you take while still accelerating away from the hairpin, and the road falls away after the apex. It needs no braking and at most a breath off the throttle: aim for a late apex and let the car run out to the right, which is where you want to be for the next left. The mistake to avoid is turning in early, which runs you wide on the downhill exit.

Autobahn (Full) T4 race line close-up: Banked +3.2% at the apex; climbs about 1.6 m to the exit from the lowest part of the lap.
T4

A fast, sweeping left, strongly banked at the apex, that climbs out of the lowest part of the lap. Lift or brake in a straight line from the right side, turn in smoothly and let the banking carry you to a late apex, then run out to the right as the road rises. The mistake to avoid is an early apex: the corner keeps going, and turning in too soon pushes you wide on the uphill exit.

From the survey: Banked +3.2% at the apex; climbs about 1.6 m to the exit from the lowest part of the lap.

Autobahn (Full) T5 race line close-up
T5

Another left, quicker than it looks, that drops about a metre after the apex. Set the car with a lift or a light brake from the right side, take a late apex and let it run out to the right, then use the run that follows to move back to the left and brake for the right-hander ahead. The mistake to avoid is carrying too much speed onto the falling exit and running out of road.

Autobahn (Full) T6 race line close-up: Banked +2.9% at the apex; climbs about 0.9 m to the apex and 1.0 m after it.
T6

A right with a slight dip on the way in that then climbs through the apex and out of the corner, and the guides agree it wants patience. Brake in a straight line from the left side, wait for a late apex and use the uphill to put the power down as the car runs out to the left. The mistake to avoid is turning in early, which runs you wide on the uphill exit.

From the survey: Banked +2.9% at the apex; climbs about 0.9 m to the apex and 1.0 m after it.

Autobahn (Full) T7 race line close-up
T7

A fast, gentle right, well banked, that you take with little or no braking. Keep one smooth steering input, use the banking and let the car drift out to the left, which sets you up for the braking zone into the next right. The mistake to avoid is an abrupt lift mid-corner, which unloads the rear at speed.

Autobahn (Full) T8 race line close-up
T8

The first of two slow rights that work best as one corner. Brake hard and straight from the left side, turn in to an apex around the middle of the inside curbing and let the car drift out toward the left before the second apex, keeping one steady steering input. The mistake to avoid is treating this as a separate corner and then braking again for the second one.

Autobahn (Full) T9 race line close-up: Banked +3.1% at the apex.
T9

The second half of the pair: a tight right that wants a really late turn-in, and the more banked of the two. Hold your line from the first apex, clip this one late and unwind early enough to get the car straight for the short run to the left that follows. The mistake to avoid is getting on the power too early, which pushes you wide and wrong-footed for the next corner.

From the survey: Banked +3.1% at the apex.

Autobahn (Full) T10 race line close-up
T10

A left that releases you onto the long back straight, so its exit matters far more than its entry. It needs little or no slowing: turn in from the right side for a late apex and let the car run out to the right as you go to full throttle. The mistake to avoid is an early apex that makes you lift on the way onto the straight.

Autobahn (Full) T11 race line close-up
T11

The right at the end of the long back straight is one of the slowest corners on the lap and a heavy, straight-line stop on gently falling ground. Brake from the left side, turn in late and apex late, but don't let the car run all the way out to the left, because a left follows almost at once. The mistake to avoid is braking too late on the downhill approach and arriving at the next corner off line.

Autobahn (Full) T12 race line close-up
T12

A left that comes straight out of T11 and keeps falling gently, and its exit starts the climb to the crest. Get the car straight early, take a late apex and let it run out to the right onto the link road, then hold a steady throttle. The mistake to avoid is still turning or braking as you reach the top of the crest ahead.

Autobahn (Full) T13 race line close-up: The crest on the link road before it is the one real vertical feature at Autobahn: at speed it takes a noticeable share of the car's weight off over the top (from the LiDAR profile).
T13

The link road climbs over the property's one real crest before T13, and at speed it takes a good share of the car's weight off, so have the car straight and stable over the top before you do anything. Brake in a straight line once the car has settled, turn in for a late apex on this banked right and let it run out only as far as it needs to, because the T14 left follows. The mistake to avoid is braking or turning while the car is light over the crest.

From the survey: The crest on the link road before it is the one real vertical feature at Autobahn: at speed it takes a noticeable share of the car's weight off over the top (from the LiDAR profile).

Autobahn (Full) T14 race line close-up
T14

A left that climbs about a metre to the apex and another metre after it, and is only lightly banked. The hill helps you slow, so it needs less brake than it looks: turn in from the right side for a late apex and keep the car near the middle on exit rather than running to the edge. The mistake to avoid is turning in early and running wide while the car is still climbing.

Autobahn (Full) T15 race line close-up: Barely banked: +0.5% at the apex.
T15

A fast right that keeps climbing and is barely banked, so the surface gives you almost nothing here. Use a lift rather than the brakes, take a smooth, late apex and let the car drift out to the left onto the run that follows. The mistake to avoid is a sharp steering input on this unsupportive surface, which can unsettle the car at speed.

From the survey: Barely banked: +0.5% at the apex.

Autobahn (Full) T16 race line close-up: The highest point on the lap (186.5 m) is just after the apex.
T16

A long right at the far end of the property, at the highest part of the lap, and the end of a straight, so it is a real braking zone. Brake in a straight line from the left side, hold the car wide until you can see the exit, then turn in for a very late apex and drive out to the left onto the long run that follows. The mistake to avoid is turning in early: the corner turns through more than 120°, and an early apex leaves you fighting the car on the exit.

From the survey: The highest point on the lap (186.5 m) is just after the apex.

Autobahn (Full) T17 race line close-up
T17

A left at the end of the long run down the east side, a clear braking zone into a lightly banked corner. Brake in a straight line from the right side and turn in for a late apex, but resist letting the car run out to the right on the exit, because the long final right needs you over on the left. The mistake to avoid is running out to the right edge, which leaves you on the wrong side for the last corner.

Autobahn (Full) T18 race line close-up: Banked +1.7% at the apex; drops 1.3 m on the exit.
T18

The last corner is a long, near-180° right that the guides describe as two turns taken as one sweeping arc onto the front straight. Brake in a straight line from the left side, turn in and hold one steady arc to a late apex, then build the throttle as early as you can, because the corner is banked and leads onto the long front straight. The mistake to avoid is a tight, early apex that forces you to lift on the exit with the straight ahead.

From the survey: Banked +1.7% at the apex; drops 1.3 m on the exit.

Version history

  • v1.1 · 2026-10-01 — Speeds and braking points rebuilt at a typical quick HPDE pace. Braking points moved by 30 m or less: T1 about 25 m later, T13 25 m later, T11 15 m later, T17 10 m earlier, the rest within 5 m. The line now goes straight from throttle to brake, with no coasting in between. Guide text for T3 and T10 now matches the line. Version history and feedback contributors added.
